Booking and Payments

At the time of booking a deposit of £40 per room is required to secure the reservation. In paying this deposit you agree to the following policies.
The deposit is taken from the total room tariff, the remaining balance of which must be paid before departure.

Cancellations

If a booking is cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled between 14 and 7 days prior to arrival the deposit is retained by us.
If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival or in the event of a no-show, the full remaining amount is due. If we manage to re-let the room you will be refunded, less the deposit.
We will consider exemptions for special cases but cannot accept responsibility for factors out of our control such as ferry cancellations and disruptions. We recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover such an eventuality.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside the house, please take it outside. Smoking in our rooms will incur a £200 fee to cover the cost of deep cleaning the room and you will be asked to leave. If you are asked to leave before the conclusion of your stay no compensation will be given.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome at Monamore, we provide age appropriate DVDs and books to borrow and special breakfasts can be arranged in advance. Please ensure under 16s are supervised at all times.

Pets

We love dogs and they are welcome at Monamore. Your four-legged companion is allowed in your bedroom and may join you in the breakfast room. Not everyone loves dogs, however, so please be considerate of our other guests by keeping your pet under control during time spent in the public areas. We ask that pets are not left unattended in the rooms and are always kept off the furniture.

Damages and Replacements

Please report any damages (other than general wear and tear) to Emily as soon as you can. We will then use our discretion as to whether a replacement should be charged for – we understand that accidents happen! If the binoculars and/or maps from the rooms are not left on departure, a charge will be made.

Keys

Failure to return your key at departure, in the case of a lost key, will incur a charge of £25 for a replacement. Keys taken by accident and posted back to us will not result in a fee.

Car Park

Vehicles on our driveway are left at the owners own risk, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
